Flos Carthami Hong Hua 9g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, opens the channels, unblocks menstruation and alleviates pain.
Rx. Salviae Miltiorrhizae Dan Shen 15g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, clears Heat, soothes irritability, nourishes the Blood and calms the Spirit.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 12g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, clears Heat, cools the Blood, reduces swelling from sores and abscesses and relieves pain.
With Mu Dan Pi, for Blood Stasis disorders.
With Xiang Fu, for flank pain, abdominal pain and dysmenorrhea due to Qi and Blood Stagnation.
Rx. Puerariae Ge Gen 12g Discharges Exterior conditions, releases the muscles, especially of the neck and upper back, relieves Heat, generates fluids and relieves thirst.
Rz. Cyperi Xiang Fu 12g Spreads and regulates Liver Qi, regulates menstruation and alleviates pain.
With Wu Yao and Xiao Hui Xiang, for pain, distention and prolapse in the lower abdomen due to Cold and Qi Obstruction of the Liver and Kidneys.
Rx. Linderae Wu Yao 6g Promotes the movement of Qi, alleviates pain, warms the Kidneys and disperses Cold.
With Xiang Fu, for Qi and Blood Stagnation with menstrual irregularity, pain in the lower abdomen and generalized pain and distention throughout the body.
Rz. Corydalis Yan Hu Suo 12g Invigorates the Blood, circulates Qi, stops pain and disperses extravasation.
Fr. Foeniculi Xiao Hui Xiang 3g Warms the Liver and Kidneys, expels Cold, alleviates pain, regulates Qi and harmonizes the Stomach.
Ram. Cinnamomi Gui Zhi 9g Warms the channels and collaterals to relieve pain, and warms and facilitates the flow of Qi through the channels and collaterals and Blood through the vessels.
With Dan Shen, for palpitations and chest pain due to Heart Yang Deficiency and subsequent painful obstruction due to Blood Stasis blocking the channels.
Cx. Moutan Mu Dan Pi 9g Clears Heat, cools and harmonizes the Blood, clears Deficiency Fire, invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, drains pus and reduces swelling.
Rx. Aucklandiae Mu Xiang 6g Promotes the movement of Qi, alleviates pain and adjusts and regulates stagnant Qi in the Intestines.
With Wu Yao, for lower abdominal Coldness and pain.
Rz. Alismatis Ze Xie 9g Promotes urination, leaches out Dampness, and settles Ministerial Fire in the Kidneys by draining Damp-Heat from the lower Jiao.
